Service terms and conditions for MNR Pro Painting

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services of MNR Pro Painting. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Agreement

By requesting a quote or engaging MNR Pro Painting for painting services, you enter into a service agreement with us. All work will be performed according to the specifications agreed upon in writing (quote, contract, or email confirmation).

Any changes to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine the project is unsafe or outside our expertise.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by MNR Pro Painting are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotes are estimates based on the information provided and may be subject to change if:

  • The scope of work changes
  • Additional preparation work is required
  • Unforeseen circumstances arise (e.g., structural issues, weather delays)
  • Client requests changes or additions

Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins. All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed upon before work commences. Generally:

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking (typically 30-50% of total project cost)
  • Progress payments may be required for larger projects
  • Final payment is due upon completion and client approval
  • Payment methods accepted: Cash, Mobile Money, Bank Transfer

Late payments may incur interest charges. We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are not made as agreed.

4. Scheduling and Timelines

We will provide an estimated completion date based on the project scope. While we strive to complete work on time, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions (for exterior work)
  • Unforeseen preparation requirements
  • Client-requested changes
  • Material availability
  • Force majeure events

We will communicate any delays promptly and work with you to adjust timelines as needed.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth project execution, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing access to the work area during agreed hours
  • Moving or protecting valuable/fragile items (we will protect furniture and fixtures)
  • Informing us of any special requirements or concerns
  • Making decisions on color choices and finishes in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the work area is safe and accessible
  • Providing necessary approvals for work to proceed

6. Materials and Quality

We use quality paints and materials from reputable suppliers. Material choices will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. We guarantee:

  • Professional application techniques
  • Proper surface preparation
  • Use of appropriate materials for the project
  • Clean, professional finish

Paint colors may vary slightly from samples due to lighting, surface texture, and batch variations. We recommend viewing color samples in the actual space before final selection.

7. Warranty and Guarantee

MNR Pro Painting provides a warranty on workmanship for a period of 12 months from completion date, subject to:

  • Normal wear and tear is excluded
  • Damage caused by client, third parties, or external factors is excluded
  • Issues arising from pre-existing structural problems are excluded
  • Warranty applies only to the original work area

If a defect in workmanship is identified within the warranty period, we will repair it at no additional cost. Paint manufacturer warranties apply separately and are subject to their terms.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel or postpone a project:

  • More than 7 days before start: Full refund of deposit (minus any non-refundable expenses)
  • Less than 7 days before start: Deposit may be forfeited
  • After work has started: Payment for completed work plus any materials purchased

Cancellation by MNR Pro Painting: We reserve the right to cancel a project if:

  • Payment terms are not met
  • Work area becomes unsafe
  • Client is abusive or uncooperative

In such cases, you will be refunded for any uncompleted work, minus expenses incurred.

9. Liability and Insurance

While we take every precaution to protect your property, MNR Pro Painting's liability is limited to:

  • The cost of the painting service provided
  • Direct damage caused by our negligence

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Clients are advised to maintain their own insurance coverage. We recommend removing or protecting valuable items before work begins.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage open communication to resolve issues amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled according to Ghanaian law and jurisdiction of Accra courts. We are committed to fair resolution and customer satisfaction.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Information collected is used solely for:

  • Providing and improving our services
  • Communication regarding your project
  • Business record-keeping

We do not sell or share your information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

MNR Pro Painting reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
